February 5, 2026, 6:30 AM Eastern Time – Tower Semiconductor, a leading foundry for high-value analog semiconductor solutions (Nasdaq/Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: TSEM), announced today that it is expanding AI infrastructure deployments through high-performance silicon photonics technology, which is used for 1.6T data center optical modules designed for NVIDIA network protocols. Tower Semiconductor's silicon photonics technology can provide data rates up to twice those of previous silicon photonics solutions, bringing higher bandwidth and throughput to optical interconnects, thereby enhancing the performance of AI applications on AI infrastructure.
